I'm new to the Forum, and I just wanted to share a poem that I wrote. I hope you guys like it...
Keepers of the Flame
Life is but a yarn -- un-folding - before our very eyes,
where thoughts and actions fall victim to the times --
the commonplace and the mundane, the ridiculous and the absurd.
But, these scars and stripes were not earned in vain.
Our past mistakes are but diamonds in the rough.
And so we keep pressing on,
eye-piece at hand, sword in the other,
ready to stake our claim -- and defy
the natural laws (that binds us)
that govern all things: the ebb-and-flow,
the-Ying-the-Yang, the status-quo.
This, is the indelible mark of Adventure --
a crusade of high stakes --
something worth the-prize-of-the-ticket --
however in-describable, un-conceivable, un-imaginable.
And though I am at odds with the senses, one with the elements,
I am driven by the Call - on a treasure hunt -
in search of the Great Mystery, theorizing and quantifying,
rapt -- in the works of, in the flow -- of the Grand Equation.
Primed for the Journey, I have taken on a Mission,
sworn to Secrecy, dare I say, on a path of re-discovery --
re-animation.
And to those who cope with setbacks and dejection,
but sustain a fervent measure of Hope --
the fighter, the scholars of life, the Keepers of the Flame --
these are the Crazy Spirits of Courage,
who in the face of adversity,
never stop dreaming -- and keep pressing on!!
So be bold and Adventurous, all ye dreamers and underdogs,
stargazers and thrill-seekers, all ye raiders of the unknown.
Be bold and courageous, fanning the flames of Adventure
while clinging to the Promise: "Thou shall always --
al-ways -- have Fun!!"

Thought this might be a good place to put up praise reports watching HIS hands move mightily in and around your place of influence.
I had a phone call from my eldest daughter yesterday morning concerning her husbands job interview situation in Fla. His unstable situation here in Mi. has caused him to look back down in Fla. for a job. He was in a quandary as to what to do so my daughter called for prayer.
In my prayer for him I prayed that the Lord would give him a dream or a vision if He had to so my son-in-law would know what to do.
I got a call from my daughter again tonight telling me that last night her husband had a dream-he called it a nightmare- about the job he has here in Mi. that definitely told him he was to take the job in Fla. It does mean they will be leaving us again, but I know it is the Lord's will.
My daughters jaw dropped when she heard that her husband had a dream. He was blown away when he heard I had prayed for God to give him a dream. I think God is so cool that way. He surely showed HIS sovereign power to the both of them.

We must go back to the basics in our walk with the Lord. First, He must be the love of our life, our first love! Second, His Word must be priority in our life in our life. Third, we must be people of character.
First , .is the love we must have for the Lord. This means, we say "Good morning, Lord," when we first wake up. Stay in His Presence all day. Take Him everywhere we go, whisper to Him at work, sing with Him or to Him in the car. Enjoy the scenery, the weather with Him. Ask Him questions about work, how you can do better , for favor, and for peace.
Make Him our best and close friend, the one that "Sticks closer than a brother, where He no longer calls us servant but friend." We are the one He wants to walk in the cool of the day in the garden with, to talk about how we are doing , what is happening, what we would like Him to do to assist us. Also, what the Lord would have us do for Him!
We must treat Him with respect and awe and be comfortable enough to even call our heavenly Father "Dad." When we talk to Him. He adores us, made us for fellowship. Laugh with Him, He can be funny, just look around you, even His animals and bugs are goofy and goofy looking. God may be funny but He is smart!
Enjoy sweet times with Him. Like a child, we can be simple with Him. Let Him comfort you, when you need it. Close your eyes and "Lean back" into His chest and let His arms around you. Allow Him to "Blanket us with peace and renewed strength." Remember Him just before we go to sleep and tell Him "GoodNight."
Second, His Word must be priority in our lives. We must read it, study it, find Jesus in it. We must obey it,confess it, memorize it, and pray it.
We must also stand on the Word, personalize it, believe it and live it.
Third, we must be a people of honor , dignity, integrity, loyalty and courage. People of character, showing courage and love for all others as Jesus did. People who give forgiveness generously, and shine the love of God from our faces towards all others
are just beginning to create their elements, and bring your voice to others?
I am an artist,and therefore create in several medias, I also work with children and am moving into mentoring adult warriors, who desire operating more closely with Father towards Kingdom future. I am also gaining certification required, to enable me to join with Kingdom projects in other nations. All those who can relate, please contact me, that we may form groups in which we can encourage and assist each other.
